LumiHugs measures 11 inches when seated and 20 inches when fully extended. It weighs around 4.5 lbs, with the weight evenly distributed for a balanced and comforting feel.

Is LumiHugs safe for children?

Absolutely. LumiHugs is carefully crafted to meet the highest safety standards. It complies with EN71 and ASTM F963 regulations for toy safety, ensuring it’s perfect for your little one.

Can I machine wash LumiHugs?

LumiHugs is soft and snuggly, but needs gentle care. We recommend spot-cleaning with a damp cloth only. It is not machine washable.

Is the light too bright for sleep?

Nope! The glow is warm and soft, designed to be sleep-friendly. You can also adjust the brightness to fit your child’s bedtime needs.

How long does the night light stay on?

LumiHugs features three soothing light modes: continuous glow, breathing light, and a 30-minute timer.

Does the light require batteries?

Hi, I’m Guillermo, the creator of LumiHugs—and more importantly, a dad.

When my daughter went through her “afraid of the dark” phase, I knew I wanted to help. As a product designer, I’ve spent years building everything from baby cribs to cars—but this project is different.

I didn’t just want to create another toy. I wanted to create something that brings comfort, calm, and confidence to little ones when they need it most—bedtime.

That’s how LumiHugs was born:
